A Weekend In Kuching

I went back to Kuching the 2 weekends ago to celebrate my grandma's birthday as she is 76 this year.

It was nice to be away from the hectic lifestyle of West Malaysia.

Kuching has changed so much in the past 5-6 years since DAP took over the Kuching seat.

New universities like Swinburne were built and its reputation is growing strong.

Shopping malls such as Spring and Boulevard are giving a small taste of KL life without the overinflated prices.

Starbucks and CoffeeBean are sprouting up like mushrooms after the rain. : D

KPJ decided to build a new private hospital in Kuching alongside Normah and Timberland giving her 3 private hospitals that would surely increase the revenue of our state from medical tourism.

New flyovers and underground tunnels to ease the jam.

Yes, Kuching has matured and hopefully will grow to be a very important city in the near future.

Yet, despite the rapid growth she has not forgotten her roots.

Its nice to go to a coffee shop and order the food that gave Kuching its reputation as being one of the 5 food havens in Malaysia. (In my opinion)

She has not forgotten her culture that defines Sarawak as the Bornean Paradise that made us infamous to the world.

She is famous not only for her cultural heritage but also for her natural beauty.

Bro Law

Throughout the ages there has been an unwritten set of laws that govern the way a bro would act around another bro. These set of laws help maintain the dynamic equilibrium that keeps the brotherhood intact throughout times of crisis i.e. when a cute girl arrives in the scene. What I've done is compiled and revised through some of the principles of Man Law and the Bro Code both written by Miller Lite Company and Barney Stinson of How I Met Your Mother fame. Hopefully after reading this we, men would learn the proper manners to conduct oneself with other men.

Gunung Besar Hantu aka Big Ghost Mountain

Yeah I know this event was like 3 weeks ago but damn it, it doesn't have to be this way.

I got wind from a special someone that the Bmedians and Infinity Milers were heading for a jungle trekking expedition to an obscure mountain that goes by the name of Gunung Besar Hantu.

Now where exactly is this mountain?

Devil Tempts The Weakest of Us

In society today there is an unseen evil residing amongst us. This modern day, the Devil does not come crawling from the pits of hell with a pitchfork and a deep booming voice grabbing the poor souls of Earth into the scorching pits of eternal darkness.

No my dear friends, evil decided it is time for a change of tune. Evil now has a new face and tempts us in more subtle ways.

Come Starbucks and Coffee Bean. Two establishments that provide a variety of coffee and tea beverages. With a long list of coffee and tea it tempts people into buying their products with excellent caramel macchiato, black forest, belgian chocolates to name just a few of their yummy drinks.

Aside from that those scones .... *drools* that is so delicious that one can ignore the amount of cholesterol and fat that can clog up your arteries like a sewage pipe on diarrhea day.

Despite the high-end prices, people are more than willing to fork out hard earned cash to pay for such an addiction.

To Buy Or Not To Buy a PSP

My life in Seremban should be documented properly. Important events in our lives especially the inhabitants of the Bear Den should be remembered and given proper honor. One of such is Haz's purchase of the famed PSP.

The reason of his purchase of such a godly item of awesomeness is due to the fact he can play Final Fantasy: Time Crisis on it. Furthermore the additional macho game of Gods of War (with a mini-sex-game) is an additional plus factor to own it.

On the day of purchase, the Huggy Bear withdrew the most amount of money he ever did in one day.
